From order to OEM line in 72 hours
India’s fastest fire door core. Guaranteed
Because deadlines don’t wait & neither do we
Speed : Project Survival
  • In real estate, hospital, or hotel projects, one delay in fire door supply can stall occupancy permits (OC/NOC).
  • By promising dispatch in days, TierCore becomes the “project lifesaver” core.
Makes Imports Irrelevant
  • Even if competitors claim “better finish” or “premium,” their 4–8 week wait kills them.
  • OEMs, contractors, and developers will pay for speed over perfection.
OEM Advantage
  • Small and mid-sized OEMs don’t have huge warehouses—they need just-in-time supply.
  • TierCore’s SLA allows them to scale without holding massive stock.
Trust & Differentiation
  • A formal SLA shows TierCore is professional and accountable, not just another vendor.
  • “Safety + Speed”is a combination that no one else in India is offering.

We Look Forward to Partnering With You

Our Fastest Dispatch Promise is a contractual SLA: standard fire door cores dispatched pan-India in 3–5 working days, or you receive a credit. While imports like Halspan take 4–8 weeks, Deurcore delivers in days — keeping hospitals, hotels, and high-rise projects on track

What is a fire door core?

A fire door core is the engineered inner layer of a fire door that provides resistance to fire, heat, and smoke. It is the part that actually gives the door its fire rating, such as 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. The outer finish can be wood, laminate, or veneer, but the safety depends on the tested fire rated door core. In simple terms, the core is the “heart” of every fire door.

The fire rated core is what ensures a fire door does its job during an emergency. Without it, the door would collapse quickly in heat, allowing fire and smoke to spread unchecked. A certified core gives extra minutes for evacuation, protecting lives and property. Fire officers and building codes will not accept doors without tested fire door cores, making them essential for compliance.

A wooden fire door core combines fire safety with aesthetics and flexibility. Unlike metal cores, wooden cores can take veneers, laminates, or paint finishes, making them ideal for hotels, hospitals, and apartments where looks matter. They also provide better thermal and acoustic insulation compared to plain steel cores. This makes wooden fire rated door cores the preferred choice in many Indian projects.

In India, fire door cores are tested as part of the door assembly under IS 16947: Fire Resistance Test of Doors and Shutters. The doors must also comply with IS 3614: Fire Doors and Door Sets, which defines design and performance criteria. All of this is tied to NBC 2016 Part 4 (Fire & Life Safety), which mandates where fire rated doors must be installed. Using a tested core is the only way to meet these requirements.

Fire door cores are available in ratings like ID 30 (30 minutes), ID 60 (1 hour), ID (90 minutes), and ID (2 hours). The rating shows how long the door can resist fire and smoke while maintaining integrity. Hospitals and staircases often require ID120 cores, while apartments and offices may need ID60. Choosing the right fire rated door core depends on project requirements and fire officer approvals.

No. A door without a tested fire door core is not a fire door—it is just a regular wooden or flush door. Using plywood or untested fillers as substitutes will fail fire inspections and may be rejected during building handover. More importantly, it creates a life safety risk during a fire. A genuine fire rated door core ensures the entire door assembly is certified and trusted.

Fire door cores are used by OEM door manufacturers and Architects to produce certified fire doors. However, end users include hospitals, hotels, high-rise apartments, and government projects, all of which require fire doors as per NBC codes. Interior executors and consultants also specify wooden fire door cores in their drawings to ensure safety without compromising aesthetics. In short, they are critical for every modern building type.

Imported fire door cores, like those from Europe, often take 4–8 weeks due to shipping and customs delays. This creates challenges for fast-moving projects. Local tested wooden fire door cores in India like DEURCORE are far more reliable, with standard sizes often available in stock. In many cases, cores can be dispatched in 5-7 days, ensuring project timelines are not disrupted.
